Hi, I’m Lauren
But you can call me LC, I’m a visual artist who has spent the last 10+ years developing my skills in animation as well as polishing my sense of design. While attending art school, I started my career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. There I designed all kinds of print materials for the Resource Development Department before receiving my BFA in Graphic Design from the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
Since then I went from mainly working in print design to breaking into digital media and eventually ending up in ad tech which involves a deep understanding of motion graphics and interactive design as well as some working knowledge of UI/UX. I like to balance my day job with personal passions such as block printing, sewing and illustration, which has allowed me to work on other cool projects, from emerging brands to local performers.
While passionate about collaborating on projects outside of my full-time role in digital advertising, it also means my availability for freelance work can vary from time to time. That said, if the timing is right, clients will find that my creative approach—no matter the medium—is to identify the pain points and not only provide them with solutions but also maintain a sense of trust and mindfulness throughout the process.
